    Why Tint Your Windows

    Heat Rejection

Keeps cabin temperatures down on hot Oklahoma afternoons so the A/C doesn't have to work as hard.

    Glare Reduction

Cuts harsh sun glare for safer, more comfortable driving on I-35 and 2-lane highways alike.

    UV Protection

Blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays that fade interiors and damage skin over time.

    Privacy & Style

A clean, finished look with added privacy and security for what's inside your vehicle.

    XPEL PRIME Film Options

We install the full XPEL PRIME lineup, so you can choose the film that matches your priorities — style and value, or maximum heat rejection.

Is Ceramic Tint Worth It in Oklahoma?

Yes, for most drivers. Oklahoma summers regularly push cabin temperatures well above outside air temperature when a vehicle sits in the sun. Ceramic film like XPEL PRIME XR and XR PLUS rejects significantly more solar heat than standard dyed film, which means a cooler cabin, less strain on your A/C, and less UV exposure on long drives across the state. Ceramic film also won't interfere with radio, GPS, or cell signal the way some metalized films can.

If budget is the main concern, XPEL PRIME CS dyed film still delivers a clean appearance, solid UV protection, and manufacturer warranty coverage at a lower price point — it's a matter of how much heat rejection you want to pay for.

Film is cut by computer from your exact vehicle pattern — no razor blades touch your glass.

    4

    Final Inspection

Every edge and seal is checked before your vehicle is handed back to you.

Aftercare: Getting the Best Result From Your Tint

    • Wait 3–5 days before rolling your windows down so the adhesive can fully cure.
    • Small water bubbles trapped under the film during curing are normal — they will flatten out and disappear on their own.
    • Avoid using ammonia-based glass cleaners on tinted windows; a soft cloth with a tint-safe cleaner works best.
    • If you ever notice peeling, bubbling that won't clear, or discoloration, call us — XPEL PRIME film carries manufacturer warranty coverage.

    Oklahoma Window Tint Law

Oklahoma requires front side windows to allow more than 25% visible light transmission (VLT). Back side windows and the rear window can be tinted darker. We'll help you choose a legal, well-matched shade for your front windows and discuss options for the rest of the vehicle.

Tint laws can change, and enforcement can vary by officer and situation. This summary is for general guidance only — verify current rules with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety or your local law enforcement before making a final decision.
