DealerPaint Protection Film (PPF) in Ponca City, OK
Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing urethane film applied over your vehicle's paint. It absorbs the impact of rock chips, road debris, and minor abrasions before they ever reach your clear coat — and light scratches in the film heal themselves with heat. We install XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS, backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
What PPF Protects Against
- Rock chips and gravel kicked up on Oklahoma highways
- Bug splatter and acidic residue
- Minor scratches from car washes and everyday parking lots
- Road salt, tar, and general road grime

Coverage Packages

What Parts of a Car Should Be Protected?
- Hood and front fenders — the most exposed panels on the highway
- Front bumper — takes the brunt of low-speed impacts and road spray
- Side mirrors — directly in the line of fire from oncoming debris
- Rocker panels and door edges — vulnerable to curb rash and door dings
- Headlights — protects lens clarity and reduces pitting over time

PPF vs Ceramic Coating
Paint Protection Film
A physical urethane film that absorbs impacts — rock chips, scratches, and road debris. It's the only real defense against actual paint damage.
Ceramic Coating
A chemical coating that bonds to paint for added gloss, hydrophobic water beading, and easier maintenance. It does not stop physical impacts.
The two products complement each other: PPF handles impact protection while ceramic coating adds shine and makes washing easier. Many customers apply ceramic coating over their PPF for the best of both. Learn more about ceramic coating.

Install & Care Basics
PPF is installed by hand in a clean, climate-controlled environment, with the film precisely trimmed and wrapped around panel edges for a factory-clean look. After installation, avoid washing the vehicle for a few days to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
Once cured, PPF can be washed like normal paint. Avoid automatic brush car washes when possible and address bug or tar residue promptly to keep the film looking its best.
